Uses

temporarily relieves the following symptoms associated with hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: • runny nose • sneezing • itching of the nose or throat • itchy, watery eyes • nasal and sinus congestion • sinus pain • headache • fever

Warnings

Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.

Do not use • if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product • Do not use with any other product containing any of the above active ingredients

Ask a doctor before use if you have • heart disease • high blood pressure • thyroid disease • diabetes • glaucoma • trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland • a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis

When using this product • do not use more than directed • excitability may occur, especially in children • drowsiness may occur • avoid alcoholic drinks • alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness • use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery

Stop use and ask a doctor if • you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless • redness or swelling is present • new symptoms occur • symptoms do not improve • you need to use more than 7 days • fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days

If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.

Directions

• Adults and children 12 years of age and older: take 2 caplets with water every 6 hours as needed; do not take more than 8 caplets in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor 
• Children under 12 years: do not use this adult product in children under 12 years of age; this will provide more than the recommended dose (overdose) and could cause serious health problems
